EADA Business School takes a decisive step in its mission to train the business leaders of the future with the launch of its new manifesto, ‘Leading what matters’. This manifesto reinforces the school’s position as a benchmark in business education, focused on preparing, accompanying and training professionals to drive profitable and sustainable businesses while generating a positive impact on society and the world.

The manifesto arises in an increasingly complex global context, where companies must not only be economically viable, but also responsible. ‘Leading what matters’ puts the emphasis on what really matters: helping organizations and their professionals adapt and thrive in a world that, today more than ever, must face social, economic and environmental crises. This manifesto also allows us to offer spaces for debate - in addition to research, training and capacity building for business professionals - to ask questions in a different way in the face of a radically different reality that today requires answers.

"At EADA we have always been committed to practical learning and, with this manifesto, we want to make it clear that business success cannot be separated from the impact that a company generates in its environment," says Dr. Federica Massa-Saluzzo, Chief Sustainability Officer at EADA. "Our students not only learn to manage businesses, but they understand the importance of creating value for all stakeholders: shareholders, employees, customers and society in general."

02The 'Leading what matters' approach includes the integration of sustainability and social responsibility into the curriculum, as well as promoting interdisciplinary learning that connects the business world with fields such as environmental science, social justice and public policy. This underlines EADA's vision of training leaders who are ready to face the challenges of the 21st century, such as climate change and social inequalities.

Furthermore, the manifesto aligns with all the school’s programmes, encouraging leadership with impact. EADA participants not only acquire theoretical knowledge but are encouraged to actively engage in the search for solutions to current global problems, from sustainability to ethical governance.

“What sets us apart is that we have been working under this approach for years, and with the manifesto we finally communicate publicly what we have been doing: demonstrating that a business with purpose is a successful business,” underlines Dr. Jordi Díaz, Dean and CEO of EADA.

EADA also recognises the fundamental role that companies play in the transformation of society. For this reason, ‘Leading what matters’ invites leaders, alumni, teachers, organisations and decision-makers, as well as collaborators to join in this collective effort to create a better world, harnessing the power of business to drive positive change.

The launch of the manifesto is a milestone in EADA's history and reiterates the institution's commitment to training professionals who lead with purpose, contributing to the sustainable growth of companies and the well-being of global society.
