Workshop: LinkedIn, the ideal channel to boost your personal brand online

It is important to know how to take care of our digital identity and review the trace that we leave on the network based on our activity. Our identity today has a great deal of overexposure that we need to know how to manage, especially when we make the leap to a professional network such as LinkedIn. Therefore, it is necessary to define a positioning according to our knowledge, experience, concerns and, of course, our personality values.

In order not to waste time on the network and get the most out of LinkedIn, we must start by establishing a Balanced Digital Diet, that is, an action plan that allows us to optimise our actions and the time we invest in this platform. In the same way, we will be able to position ourselves as a reference in our areas of expertise.

Knowing LinkedIn's algorithm in depth is fascinating. There are many small details that will make our profile and publications more visible than those of other users, but above all it is essential to educate the algorithm based on our positioning so that it identifies us with the topics in which we can truly contribute value to others; and that it does not educate itself at its own free will.

Objectives of the Workshop:

  • Knowing the importance of taking care of the digital identity in a social network such as LinkedIn and the digital footprint, beyond this platform.
  • Develop the SEO of a professional profile and optimise the presentation profile on LinkedIn.
  • Increase the engagement of publications, following the parameters of LinkedIn's algorithm.
  • Define an action plan for LinkedIn: Balanced Digital Diet.
  • Understand how to perform a digital health check on LinkedIn.
  • Discover the latest news provided by the platform.

He collaborates with national and international brands in the management of their digital communication and online reputation. He is a trainer for Management Committee teams in communication and digital skills, and a professor at the Universitat Abat Oliba, Inesdi Business Techschool, UPF - Barcelona School of Management, and collaborates with different business schools and universities in Latin America. He has developed campaigns for institutions such as the Vatican, Futbol Club Barcelona, the Government of Catalonia or political parties in Spain and Latin America; and companies such as Iberostar Group, Damm, Amazon Web Services, Importaco, Ingram Micro, DNV or Asics, among others. He advises diplomats, executives, lawyers, sportsmen and women and professionals from different sectors of society on the definition, strategic development and projection of their personal brand. He is a member of Dircom, Association of Communication Executives; member of the General Board of Alumni of the International University of Catalonia; and member of the Spanish Association of Executives and Advisors.
