EADA and Livensa Living renew the agreement for accommodation scholarships for an EADA student
EADA Business School and the Livensa Living residences network have renewed their collaboration agreement to provide an accommodation scholarship.
As part of The EADA Fund for Positive Impact initiative and the Larson Torras Scholarship, this year Livensa Living has awarded the accommodation scholarship to Kutlo Michelle L. Oduetse, a scholarship recipient participant in the current intake, 2023-2024, of the International Master in Sustainability and Business Innovation. The scholarship, granted by Livensa Living, allows Kutlo to reside in their Marina residence throughout the academic year.
The signing of the agreement renewal took place last November at EADA's Aragó Campus 1. Present at the event were EADA's Dean, Jordi Díaz, EADA's Marketing & Engagement Director, Rosa Salvadó, and Livensa Living representatives, Lidia Gonzalez, B2B Sales Coordinator Spain, and Marc Sancho, Barcelona Cluster Manager.
The renewal of this agreement reaffirms EADA and Livensa Living's commitment to education and sustainability. The Larson Torras Scholarship, named after its main donors, Mr. Lluís Torras and his late wife, aims to support female talent in Africa and contribute to the sustainable development of the continent.
About Kutlo Michelle L. Oduetse, the second recipient of the Larson-Torras Scholarship
Kutlo is a social entrepreneur from Botswana who founded Bio Carbon Africa, a social project focused on cleaning the water stored in approximately 20% of Botswana's remote community villages, where water access is a problem.
Kutlo not only seeks to address this problem but also aims to contribute to employing young people from this community by offering them assistance in implementing this project.
"I hope to be able to apply all the knowledge gained at EADA in the context of my project in my country. I trust in learning from the professors and subjects of the Master everything necessary to make Bio Carbon Africa a sustainable long-term project, improving or reformulating my ideas and products to better fulfill Bio Carbon Africa's goal and create a greater impact in my country," says Kutlo.
The renewal of this agreement is excellent news, continuing to enable EADA to support female talent in Africa by fully sponsoring the Larson Torras Scholarship recipient.
