EADA’s MBA programme maintains its international recognition for sustainability

15 November 2021

Corporate Knights has published its annual Better World Ranking MBA, in which EADA Business School has been ranked among the 40 best schools in the world at number 34. This improvement of one position with regard to last year’s ranking is due to the integration of sustainable development in EADA Business School’s MBA programmes, faculty research on sustainability issues as well as the gender and racial diversity of its faculty.

To produce this ranking, Corporate Knights evaluated 147 business schools, including the top 100 global MBA programmes from the Financial Times 2021 ranking, the Top 40 schools in the Corporate Knights’ Better World MBA Ranking 2020 and the MBA programmes accredited by AMBA, AACSB or EQUIS and/or those signatories to the Principles For Responsible Management Education who opted for evaluation.

It was based on five key performance indicators: the number of published articles with a focus on sustainability (30%) and the number of citations for those articles (20%), the number of core subjects which integrate sustainability topics (30%), research institutes and centres focussing on sustainable development (10%), gender (5%) and racial (5%) diversity of faculty.

Founded in 2002 and based in Toronto, Corporate Knights is a research institution which focuses on clean capitalism; an economic system which takes into account economic and ecological factors. It is best known for producing transparent rankings in the field of corporate sustainability.
