EADA gains accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
The EADA Postgraduate programme in Executive Coaching has been certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), which is the largest worldwide organisation to certify professional coaches and coaching programmes. This institution, which has over 36,000 accredited coaches and a presence in 143 countries, is dedicated to promoting science, art and the practice of professional coaching with the maximum guarantees in terms of rigour, professionalism, ethics and quality. The ICF also establishes the minimum criteria for the certification of professional coaches as well as the recognition, accreditation and approval of coaching programmes.
The participants who graduate from the Postgraduate in Executive Coaching at EADA will obtain the Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) and will be able to pursue their ACC (Associated Certified Coach) to gain the first level of professional coaching training, which is the highest accreditation awarded by the ICF for training programmes. For Carme Gil, Director of the Coaching Center and the Postgraduate in Executive Coaching at EADA, “this distinction acknowledges the training excellence of our programme, which complies with the highest standards of quality required by the ICF at an international level, and, at the same time, represents a competitive advantage for the participants when they graduate, as they will hold the certification which companies require for the practice of coaching.”
According to Gil, “this certification also acknowledges EADA’s commitment over the last 17 years to coaching methodology through its coaching sessions in all of its programmes including international masters, executive programmes and company training, which translates into 1,500 hours of coaching.” Luisa Bonilla, Corporate Manager and Executive Coach at EADA, highlights that “EADA’s support of our participants throughout their professional and personal growth is a real commitment and forms part of our DNA.” In her opinion, “this certification further underlines our commitment to quality executive coaching to boost the talent of professionals and managers and ensure that organisations achieve their strategic goals.”
The Postgraduate in Executive Coaching at EADA is designed to convert and train participants to become professional coaches in the area of executive coaching, a discipline which is increasingly being adopted by organisations as well as professionals who want to lead a personal and professional transformation. According to Carme Gil, “it is a programme that trains our participants to become executive coaches and enables them to undergo this awareness process towards transformation and a change in their beliefs.” She adds that, “they also identify their own potential by incorporating the benefits of coaching, they manage complexity through a different perspective and achieve extraordinary results, which, above all, include acting as a lever for change in organisations through the discipline of coaching.”
