Josep Lluís Bonet has been re-elected for another 4-year term as president of Fira de Barcelona
On Wednesday the Fira de Barcelona general council approved the reappointment of Mr Josep Lluís Bonet as counsellor and president of the institution’s board of administration, along with counsellors Enrique Lacalle, Enric Crous and Nuria Basi. All of them will complete the maximum of three terms of office as stated in the Fira de Barcelona statutes.
The board, made up of representatives from the Generalitat, the Municipal Council and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, has also approved the appointment of Carles Vilarrubí. The other board members in addition to those mentioned above are Jordi Clos, Pedro Fontana, Luis Conde and Miquel Martí.
What’s more, Mr Bonet has been President of the Freixenet Group since 1999. He is a Doctor in Law from the UB (Universitat de Barcelona) and professor in Political Economics and the Public Treasury at the UB Law Faculty. Mr. Bonet is a member of the Board of Trustees of EADA.
