EADA has improved its international ranking in masters and postgraduate programmes for executives and managers

EADA’s masters and postgraduate programmes for executives and managers rank among the best in the world according to the latest Ranking Executive Education 2015 published by the prestigious daily, the Financial Times. The ranking, which is drawn up by assessing different aspects of open programmes- for executives and managers- and custom programmes – customised programmes for companies – confirms that EADA has climbed further up the ranking of the world’s top business schools.

Customised programmes

This category –which the Financial Times refers to as custom programmes– includes all the programmes that EADA designs specifically for companies in different sectors in order to address the training needs of their executives and managers. Here, EADA has climbed up five positions, from 66th last year to 61st.

Executive Education programmes

These programmes –open programmes according to the FT– are the programmes on EADA’s portfolio, which any candidate who aspires to a post of responsibility in a company can enrol on. In this category EADA has risen from 57th place last year to 56th, which is especially significant taking into account that five more schools have been included on this ranking since 2014.

Appraisal

In a context where Europe especially is emerging from the crisis, it is worth pointing out that the continent’s schools continue to maintain a privileged position in the international arena and the fact that “our country continues to consolidate such high quality standards in managerial training” is a source of satisfaction, points out Miquel Espinosa, EADA’s general director, who goes on to add that “being able to accompany companies in their corporate and international development is of strategic importance for the years to come”. In fact “we maintain an outstanding position (11) as regards the international composition of the participants on our open programmes”.
Barcelona, with three business schools, continues to boast a privileged position as a state of the art city in business education.
