Inauguration of IncubaAceleradora
IncubaAceleradora. From the idea to the market
The companies incubator Almogàvers Business Factory (ABF) of Barcelona was inaugurated last January. It was set up in June 2011 and took up premises in the neighbourhood, Poblenou Sant Martí.
In this same building, EADA, in alliance with BiHoop Ventures S.L., a start up that sprang from EADA’s classrooms between 2011 and 2012, founded by four alumni of the EADA’s Executive MBA – José Carlos Vallecillo, Eugenio Viudez, Karine Rochou and Ignacio Ribas, has located IncubaAceleradora EADA-Bihoop. The aim of IncubaAceleradora is to provide all the necessary support for those first steps in launching a startup, thus enabling entrepreneurs to focus on the tasks that really create added value.
Among other personalities attending the inaugurations was His Excellency Xavier Trias, the Lord Mayor of Barcelona, who described ABF as an “incubator of incubators”, which bears testimony to Barcelona’s commitment to dynamising its economy, creating companies and promoting its network of companies, made up for the most part of SMBs and entrepreneurs.
