Anton-Giulio es Doctor en Economía por la Toulouse School of Economics y tiene un máster en esta universidad y en la Universidad Bocconi de Milán, Italia. Es profesor en EADA Business School y ha sido investigador en el CRES (Centro de Investigación en Economía y Salud) de la Universitat. Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. Su investigación se centra en la política de competencia y las prácticas anticompetitivas, particularmente en el sector farmacéutico. Ha publicado en reconocidas revistas peer review. Ha sido consultor para empresas farmacéuticas y agencias reguladoras, incluidos modelos económicos, planificación de acceso al mercado y contratos basados en el valor. También ha sido consultor en política de competencia, donde ha trabajado en una variedad de sectores y jurisdicciones a nivel nacional y europeo.
