Anton-Giulio és Doctor en Economia per la Toulouse School of Economics i té un màster per aquesta universitat i per la Universitat Bocconi de Milà, Itàlia. És professor a EADA Business School i ha estat investigador al CRES (Centre de Recerca en Economia i Salut) de la Universitat. Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. La seva recerca se centra en la política de competència i les pràctiques anticompetitives, particularment en el sector farmacèutic. Ha publicat en reconegudes revistes peer review. Ha estat consultor per a empreses farmacèutiques i agències reguladores, inclosos models econòmics, planificació d'accés al mercat i contractes basats en el valor. També ha estat consultor en política de competència, on ha treballat en una varietat de sectors i jurisdiccions a nivell nacional i europeu.
